Opportunities through the rise of smart devices

In a relatively short span of time, humans have grown accustomed — dependent even — to the fact that our laptops, digital tablets and smartphones connect to the Internet. That connectedness is starting to extend to a seemingly endless list of things, such as fitness trackers, televisions, cameras, car sensors, thermostats and much, much more. This rise of smart devices, the so-called “Internet of Things,” is rapidly improving efficiency, user experience and brand engagement and poses many questions that marketers must begin considering today.
