Michelle Black

Michelle Black, Founder of CreditWriter.com and HerCreditMatters.com, is a leading journalist with over a decade and a half of experience writing about credit. She’s an expert on credit reporting, credit scoring, identity theft, budgeting, and debt eradication. Michelle is also an experienced personal finance and travel writer whose work has been featured on mainstream outlets such as Forbes, Readers Digest, and Bankrate. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and French. When she isn't writing about credit and money, Michelle enjoys taking Tae Kwon Do classes with her two young children. She and her son currently hold first-degree black belts and her daughter is scheduled to join them, earning her black belt as well within the year.
